Benedict Cumberbatch will next be seen in a web adaptation of the bestselling novel ‘How To Stop Time’ by Matt Haig.
The series will have six episodes and it will be directed by Tomas Alfredson who is known for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. It will be produced by Benedict himself.
Matt Haig is known for books like ‘The Midnight Library’ and ‘Reasons To Stay Alive’. His stories are filled with wonderful concepts and unique ideas. Like The Midnight Library tells the story of a girl who gets into a library with the books containing stories of all the lives she could not live for the choices she made.
‘How To Stop Time’ tells the story of a rare condition Anegeria, which makes people stay alive for centuries after centuries. Benedict plays the character of one such person, Tom Hazard who is alive for many years. Tom Hazard is alive from the 15th century and he was born in France and had seen many things in his life. He is in a secret war and has to survive many conflicts. Actors like Adam Ackland, Claire Marshall, Leah Clarke too will be in important roles.
Benedict Cumberbatch is an actor who has proven his caliber Time and Time again with his wonderful performances. Benedict will be the perfect actor to play Tom Hazard after his roles like Doctor Strange. How To Stop Time is somehow similar to the concept of Doctor Who and of course it will have a huge fan base. The pre-existing fandom of the novel will be waiting for the series eagerly and it will add one more feather to the oeuvre of Benedict Cumberbatch.
