The trailer for the highly buzzy series Bérlin is now out. As you may already know, Bérlin is a spin-off to the Spanish series La Casa De Papel which is more popular as Money Heist in the English-speaking nations.
Well, you must be aware that Netflix robbed viewers of their share of fun in the final season of Money Heist as the ending was simply not fun. It was too much a fan-pleasing and it didn’t align well with the way Money Heist started.
Regardless, the trailer of Bérlin is now out and it is different from what people imagined it to be. So what do you expect from Bérlin?
He is a genius who makes meticulous plans and considers robbery an art. So he must be making genius plans in the trailer, right?
Yes, he is but the main focus is on the love making aspect of the character. Netflix is very well aware that the character of Bérlin is a charmer and his playboy attitude made him highly popular among the fans. Netflix is focusing on that in the trailer but we hope Bérlin brings a gripping story rather than merely fan-pleasing.
Regardless, Bérlin releases on December 29 on Netflix. The cast includes some new and some familiar faces. We will get Pedro Alonso, Michelle Jenner starring as Keila, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña taking on the role of Roi, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.
We can also spot Najwa Nimri and Itziar Ituño.
