Beyond The Spider-Verse Gets No Release Date Despite This Update

With the culmination of the SAG-AFTRA strike, Sony has decided to move forward with the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The studio has not yet given the film a fixed release window. But thanks to Deadline, we do have a positive update about the film.

According to Deadline, Beyond the Spider-Verse’s cast will return soon to record voice-overs for the film. The sequel to Across the Spider-Verse has been taken off the 2024 window by Sony. So, we do not know when it will arrive in theatres. Though, the studio has yet to confirm this report.

Considering the end of the four-month-long actors’ strike and the film’s cast returning for voice-overs, we should expect Beyond the Spider-Verse to be released in 2025.

Not only does Miles have to deal with Spot and Miguel O’Hara’s Spider-Man 2099, but he also has to find a way to escape from the grasp of Earth-42’s Miles. He just wants to save his father from Spot on Earth-1610.

The third Miles Morales entry is rumoured to be a blend of animation and live-action scenes, taking the breaching of the Multiverse to a whole new level. We have already witnessed the live-action scenes of Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men in the Spider Society scene of Across the Spider-Verse. This proved that Maguire’s and Garfield’s versions of the web-slinger are connected with the main Spider-Verse’s continuity.

Representatives of Sony are tight-lipped about Beyond the Spider-Verse’s plot details. Let’s see how Miles fights all the odds stacked against him to save his dad in the final entry of the Spider-Verse trilogy. Stay tuned for more updates.
