Kannada film, Bheemasena Nalamaharaja which was wrapped up way back in 2018 is finally releasing thanks to the Pandemic. Amazon Prime Video bagged the Direct Online Rights of the movie and is going to stream it on October 29th.
The movie featuring Aravinnd Iyer, Aarohi Narayan, Priyanka Thimmesh, Achyuth Kumar, Vijay Chendoor, and Amaan, among others, is an ode to food and focuses on family values, the makers claim. According to mythology, Nala and Bheema are two of the best cooks in the World. So connecting the concept of food, the movie is titled Bheemasena Nalamaharaja. They are bringing some ancient food concept out with this movie.
“Food brings people closer. Our film will showcase the age-old, kai thuthu concept — food is rolled into balls and divided and placed on everyone’s hands to eat. We have also presented the classic ragi mudde. in the form of a Ganapathi idol. In that sense, it represents bhakti (devotion) and shakti (strength). The movie based on six rasas — sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent, and the six characters of the film represents six rasas,” Director Aravinnd Iyer explained in an interview. Let us see if the movie will be able to strike a chord with the audience.
