Bheemla Nayak Makers Told To Make Way For RRR And Radhe Shyam

As things stand, three Telugu biggies RRR, Bheemla Nayak, and Radhe Shyam will be releasing in theatres next Sankranthi season. While RRR has locked 7th January as its theatrical release date, Bheemla Nayak, and Radhe Shyam have locked 12th and 14th January respectively. But talks are underway to get one of these three biggies out of the Sankranthi race. In all likelihood, Bheemla Nayak, an intense action drama starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana in the lead roles might be ousted from the Sankranthi race.

Tollywood Producers Guild held a meeting the other day to discuss the possibility of finding an amicable solution to the three-way box office clash which looks imminent next Sankranthi season. Apparently, in the meeting, the producers guild advised the makers of Bheemla Nayak to opt out of the Sankranthi race in order to make way for RRR and Radhe Shyam which are mounted on heavy budgets.

In response, the makers of Bheemla Nayak are citing the ‘Vakeel Saab’ example, saying there is a very good chance that the Andhra Pradesh government will target the film if it gets a solo release, given the friction between Pawan Kalyan and AP government bigwigs.

From what we hear, the makers of Bheemla Nayak were told to make way for RRR and Radhe Shyam by the Tollywood Producers Guild. But the makers of the Pawan Kalyan starrer haven’t made any promises yet. They are determined to stick to 12th January release slot.
