Kartik Aaryan‘s atmospheric horror comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2‘ has enjoyed a dream run at the box office. When all other recent Bollywood films failed spectacularly in the theatres, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 stayed strong, raking in an unbelievable ₹170+ crores at ticket windows across the country. But in today’s scenario, as deals go, even successful films must ultimately land on streaming. Though Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is still doing decent business in the theatres, it’s time for the film to arrive on streaming.
The exclusive post-theatrical streaming rights for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have been bought by streaming behemoth, Netflix. The film will therefore stream soon on Netflix. The streamer took to its social media handles this afternoon, to announce that Bhool Bhulaiyaa will arrive soon on Netflix.

Netflix hasn’t shared the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 OTT release date yet. The film released in theatres on May 20th, 2022. Going by the current trend of movies coming to OTT after an exclusive four week theatrical window, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 should release on Netflix this Friday, June 17. But Netflix already has its flagship show ‘She’ Season 2 releasing on June 17.
In recent days, Netflix has taken to releasing its big ticket films on days other than Friday. Jana Gana Mana arrived on Netflix on a Thursday. Gangubai Kathiawadi released on Netflix on a Tuesday. The streaming platform released Mammootty’s CBI 5: The Brain on Sunday, June 12. Likewise, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will also arrive tentatively on Netflix on Sunday, June 19th, exactly a month after its theatrical release.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2007 blockbuster horror comedy, Bhook Bhulaiyaa. It stars Tabu, Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, among others, and is directed by Anees Bazmee. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is produced by T-Series. Kartik Aaryan stars as a fraud psychic brought in to exorcise the ghost of Manjulika, who’s back to plot revenge against the Thakur family.
