While we are yet to see Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkumar Rao together on screen in ‘Badhaai Do’, they are already set to pair up again for Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Bheed’ that was announced earlier this month during Navaratri and will go on floors soon.
Announcing the addition of Bhumi Pednekar to the cast of ‘Bheed’, T-Series wrote on Twitter, “A groundbreaking social drama deserves the very best. This is why we are so happy to have the ever-so versatile @bhumipednekar join team #Bheed!”
‘Bheed’ is touted to be a hard-hitting social drama featuring the versatile star Rajkumar Rao in the lead who is now joined by another talented young actress Bhumi Pednekar. Known for his critically acclaimed films like ‘Mulk’, ‘Article 15’ and ‘Thappad’, ‘Bheed’ will be directed by Anubhav Sinha who will jointly produce it with Bhushan Kumar.
The production companies behind ‘Bheed’ are Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Media Works and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. Sinha is also working on an intense socio-political thriller ‘Anek’ for which he has reunited with his ‘Article 15’ star Ayushmann Khurrana. ‘Anek’ will release in theatres on 31st March 2022.
