Horror comedies seem to be the new trend in India now and the Bengali film industry is not unaffected. A few days ago a horror comedy with some popular names was announced and now, one more comes into the news.
The movie is titled ‘Bhuter Pallay Bhutnath’ and it will star actors like Kharaj Bandyopadhyay, Kanchan Mallick, Arian Bhoumik, Manashi Sinha, Raju Majumdar and more. There will be some faces from the theater scene as well.
The movie is being directed by debutant filmmaker Bidisha Chatterjee and it is said to be a movie that will celebrate the connection between cinema and drama. The primary looks for the actors are revealed and it does not look very intriguing right now. But a lot of work is yet to be done. ‘Bhuter Pallay Bhutnath’ will be releasing in theaters during the next puja vacation. The plot is not very clear now but probably it will be the story of a common man named Bhutnath who is tired of his quarrelsome wife and meets a ghost one day who creates new problems in his life. This much can be deciphered from the looks of the movie.
A teaser or trailer of the movie will probably be revealed soon and the plot of the movie will be easier to guess then.
