The trend of Pan India movies has increased suddenly after a low-key last year. The latest entrant into the race is Thalapathy Vijay’s next which is tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’. Vijay, who is still enjoying the monstrous success of his recent ‘Master’ has started prepping up for his next. Seeing the fan following of Thalapathy, the movie is in the news even though it still is in pre production.
Recently, several of the movies from South India have gone for the Pan Indian release method. For example SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’, Prabhas’ ‘Radhe Shyam’ just to name a few.
Thalapathy 65 is being helmed by Nelson Dilip Kumar and the movie is being touted as a big action entertainer. Recently the news arrived that the makers are eyeing to make the movie more visual entertaining by eye grabbing action sequences which even might eclipse the Kannada movie KGF. KGF 2 right now is the most anticipated movie in the Indian Cinema which is supposed to be high of action. Now the makers of Thalapathy 65 already challenging KGF 2 shows the immense confidence they have in the movie.
Apart from Vijay, no official cast member has been announced. While there were rumours of Pooja Hegde and Nawazuddin Siddiqui joining the movie, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. While Nawaz openly denied of being the the Pan Indian flick. For the film’s music, Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in. Anirudh recently collaborated with Vijay in ‘Master’, and the album got terrific response from all over the world.
Thalapathy 65 is still in early stages and of now, and the makers will kickstart the shoot soon enough. If all works out we might get to see Thalapathy 65 in 2022!
