The release date for ‘Kanguva’ is now locked. Tamil superstar Suriya’s anticipated action thriller ‘Kanguva’ will now be released on the 10th of October this year. There will be the Pooja vacations at that time and that will work in favour of the movie.
‘Kanguva’ is said to be the most expensive project in Suriya’s career and its story will be spanning through 4 centuries. Reportedly, Suriya will be playing double roles in the movie. One character will be back in history and another in the present day, who is somehow related to the man of old legends. This plot is somehow similar to another movie of Suriya, ‘7aum Arivu’.
The movie is directed by Siruthai Siva and it stars actors like Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Natty Natraj, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley etc. This will be Disha and Bobby’s debut in the Tamil film industry. The music is given by Devi Sri Prasad and the DOP is Vetri Palaniswamy.
It is rumoured that Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Vettaiyan’ too is going to release during the Navaratri. If it happens, there is going to be a huge clash of two big budget Tamil movies. Vettaiyan stars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan and both of them are in peak form and they will give tough competition to Kanguva at the box office.
