Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj had created quite a storm with his movie ‘Vikram’ last year. It was the second movie in his Lokesh Cinematic Universe, as fans lovingly call it. And the movie introduced the most fearsome villain of the universe in the post-climax scenes.
Suriya had a little screen time as Rolex in ‘Vikram’ but his presence was definitely the most intriguing one. With so little screen time, he managed to be the topic of regular discussion along with the biggies in the movie: Kamal Hassan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. Quite naturally, fans demanded a solo movie for Rolex.
There is some good news for fans, we might get a solo ‘Rolex’ movie sooner than expected. As it is known to all, Lokesh is now busy with ‘Leo’ and there is still confusion among fans whether it will be under LCU or not. After Leo, there are plans of sequels to ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’. ‘Rolex’ might be the next venture after these ones.
Suriya has confirmed that Lokesh has narrated a story for a standalone Rolex Movie and the makers will take required actions very soon. Reportedly, after Rolex, Suriya will work with Lokesh again in another project named ‘Irumbu Kai Mayavi’ which will be a superhero sci-fi film.
Fans are beyond excited for the movie and after such a massive success of Vikram, we can easily guess what a huge movie Rolex will be, when the character has already created so much buzz.
