Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Leo’ will be released in IMAX theaters, joining other big budget films like Jawan and Salaar. Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and fans are excited to know if and how ‘Leo’ will connect to the LCU. The movie is in post production now and it seems like the release will be a huge treat for fans.
‘Leo’ will be only the second Tamil film to be released in IMAX. Previously Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ was also released in this format. The makers of Leo have released a poster of the film with the word ‘IMAX’ written in bold white letter and the post mentions that the movie has been shot with IMAX-certified Red V-Raptor 8K VV DSMC3 camera. Apart from Leo, other upcoming films that are using this format are Shah Rukh Khan’s much anticipated ‘Jawan’, Prashant Neel’s ‘Salaar’, and Kamal Hassan, Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
Leo is one of the biggest films of the Tamil film industry and has actors like Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Gautham Menon, Arjun in various roles. The music is given by Anirudh Ravichander. Like all Lokesh Kanagaraj films, Leo too has wonderful visuals, and the cinematography is handled by cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa. And the movie is going to be an audiovisual treat for fans. So the makers have decided that there should be an IMAX Release for the best experience of viewers.
