The story is about how these young college students try to find themselves and whether they turn out to be villains or heroes.

The sci-fi series is set in a dystopian world where thousands of people live in a giant, underground silo. After a vital rule is broken by a sheriff, engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) must unearth the shocking truth about the silo.

The basic premise is that Joel, a hardened smuggler, is hired to transport a teenager Ellie across the country, while protecting her from omnipresent dangers.

The character driven mystery show is narrated in ten standalone episodes. It features Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black, Russian Doll) in the lead role of a casino worker who flees after a mysterious death and tries to solve various murder mysteries while she is on the run.

The underlying plot of the show revolves around an award-winning and young New York-based chef (played by Jeremy Allen White), who goes back to his hometown Chicago to take care of his family business – an Italian beef sandwich shop.
