Last month, we had informed our readers about the untrue rumors regarding an important cast member of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Letitia Wright’s unwillingness to return to the MCU over the much-publicized and much-criticized anti-vaccine mandate issue. Now, all the speculations surrounding it have further been laid to rest as Letitia Wright is all geared up to finally resume filming for the highly anticipated ‘Black Panther’ sequel in Atlanta next week.
This is great news for Marvel movie buffs as production for ‘Black Panther 2’ was undergoing delays owing to the pandemic and Letitia Wright’s stunt rig injury that happened last year in August. Thankfully, things are now going as planned and ‘Black Panther 2’ is indeed on track to soon resume production.
Now the golden question is whether ‘Black Panther 2’ will stick to its previously planned release date of 11th November 2022. Or will there be another delay in the film’s release date after the aforementioned production halt? Well, it seems that fans need not worry about it as of now because the people in the know have said that (via THR) the delayed production is not expected to affect the film’s 11th November 2022 release schedule.
In ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, Letitia Wright is set to reprise her role as T’Challa’s (Late Chadwick Boseman) younger sister and Wakanda’s technology wizard. After Chadwick Boseman’s unfortunate demise, Letitia Wright’s character Shuri was apparently given a meatier role in the ‘Black Panther’ sequel compared to the parent film. Besides Letitia Wright, another actor Winston Duke, who played M’Baku in the parent film, will also have a bigger part to play in the sequel.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is being helmed by Ryan Coogler and also features Martin Freeman, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, and Dominique Thorne in important roles. So, if things go as planned, there should be no further changes in the film’s currently scheduled release date of 11th November 2022.
