Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer Reveals New Black Panther

Marvel Studios has dropped the official trailer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And it looks epic in every sense. From Tenoch Huerta’s Namor to Dominique Thorner’s Ironheart, we saw a lot of scenes that will give us plenty of goosebumps while watching the film. But there was one scene that stole the limelight. Yes, we are talking about the closing moments of the trailer. We finally have a new Black Panther.

The trailer did not reveal the identity of the new Black Panther. But we know for sure that the new protector of Wakanda is a woman. Is it Shuri (Letitia Wright)? Well, the character’s new costume has a white dot design on the mask, similar to Shuri’s face during the battle scenes in the first Black Panther movie.

In the comics, Shuri is well-known for taking the mantle of Black Panther from his brother, T’Challa. She spent most of her life living in the shadows of men. She helped her brother in recovering from Doctor Doom’s fatal attack. Also, she stopped Doomie from invading Wakanda as the new Black Panther with the help of other Marvel superheroes.

Apart from the new Black Panther, the latest trailer also gives a deeper look at Tenoch Huerta’s Namor. Winston Duke’s M’Baku calls him K’uk’ulkan, the feather serpent god. He believes killing him may bring Wakanda close to a catastrophic war that can go on for ages. However, we cannot expect other Wakandans to sit back and relax. They will do whatever it takes to stop him from taking control of the surface world.

We also saw Riri Williams aka Ironheart (Dominique Thorne), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Ayo (Florence Kasumba), Ramonda (Angela Bassett), and many more characters in the trailer.

Ryan Coogler returns to helm Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He also wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole. On the other hand, the duo of Kevin Feige and Nate Moore has produced the upcoming MCU entry. Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Goransson composed the film’s score. According to numerous reports, the sequel may have a runtime of 161 minutes. It will release worldwide on November 11. Stay tuned for more updates.
