Jio Cinema has dropped the trailer for its upcoming film ‘Blind’ which marks Sonam Kapoor’s comeback after quite a while. Helmed by Shome Makhija, ‘Blind’ will premiere on Jio Cinema on 7th July, 2023.
‘Blind’ trailer shows how Sonam Kapoor, a blind police officer, comes across a serial killer, (played by Purab Kohli) one night and soon enough it all becomes too personal for her to catch this killer.
This killer is a sadist psycho who targets young women for sexual pleasures and then murders them. When he finds out Sonam is behind him he makes her his next target and is after her but she is one strong soul who fights back stronger than anyone else. Will Sonam be able to hunt down this relentless killer in this thrilling journey.
‘Blind’ is directed by Shome Makhija and is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name. The Hindi version stars Sonam Kapoor, Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey among others.
Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Pinkesh Nahar, Manish W and Jyoti Deshpande have produced ’Blind’. The production companies behind the film are Jio Studios, Kanai, AVMA & Kross Pictures, Lead Films and RV Motion Pictures. ‘Blind’ will start streaming on Jio Cinema from 7th July, 2023.
