After all the rumours, finally it is official now. Salman Khan is collaborating with filmmaker Atlee Kumar for his next project. And the Tamil superstar joining him will be none other than Rajinikanth.
The rumours were circulating for a few days but there were no official announcements. It was assumed that the movie will be a multi starrer action thriller. However, fans could not assume that the other dear joining Salman Khan will be Rajinikanth himself. This is the first time they will be working together and fans expect a huge blockbuster. The solo films of Salman Khan have not worked out well at the box office in the last few years but his stardom and hype could be seen during his cameo in ‘Pathaan’. Doing a multistarrer will be a good decision for him. Atlee Kumar has given Shahrukh Khan a huge blockbuster and if Salman goes that way, he has a chance of a comeback that he deserves.
Rajinikanth’s Jailer was a superhit. His movie ‘Kaala’ was recently listed in the top 25 films of the 21st century by BFI. He is bringing ‘Coolie’ with another trusted filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is having a dream run now. Sharing screen alongside Rajinikanth will be a safe play for Salman Khan and it will be a treat for the fans as well.
The title of the movie has not been announced, but it comes from the banner of Sun Pictures.
