The filming date of Bob Odenkirk’s “Nobody 2” has been revealed. The much anticipated sequel could go to camera sooner than our expectations. Written by Derek Kolstad and helmed by Ilya Naishuller, the first Nobody movie arrived in theatres in 2021, and minted over $57 million against a $16 million budget. The movie received an even bigger response on OTT.
According to Collider, the filming for “Nobody 2” could commence in August this year, and it may conclude in October. This is exciting news for Odenkirk’s fans. It means that the audience could watch the sequel in 2025. The first promotional photo from the project could surface online in December 2024. We are yet to receive an official release date from the makers.
Bob Odenkirk plays a boring office worker, who in reality is a former government assassin, in the 2021 movie. Apart from Odenkirk, the film stars Connie Nielsen, Aleksei Serebryakov, RZA, Michael Ironside, Colin Salmon, Christopher Lloyd, Billy MacLellan, and more. In the first film, we witnessed Odenkirk’s character returning to his former life after his family became the target of a dangerous crime lord.
Apart from being a commercial success, Nobody was a big critical success as well. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie scored a ’fresh’ score of 84%, based on over 280 certified reviews. Stay tuned for more updates.
