Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is celebrating his 55th birthday today, 27th January, 2024. And the makers of Kanguva have decided to mark the occasion by revealing the actor’s first look from the upcoming movie. This morning, producers Studio Green and UV Creations revealed the first look of Bobby Deol as Udhiran in the fantasy action drama ‘Kanguva’, headlined by Tamil star Suriya.
Tamil film ‘Kanguva’ is a fantasy drama that stars Suriya in six different roles. Bobby Deol plays the powerful character of Udhiran, primary antagonist, in the film. Kanguva doesn’t have a definite release date yet, but the film is slated to release in the first half of 2024. Interestingly, Kanguva will release in 38 languages, including the original Tamil, along with Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and English, among other languages.
Bobby Deol’s first look as Udhiran is raw and visceral, with the actor surrounded by his formidable bunch of followers. Untamed matted hair, fierce beard, rough-hewn accessories, and a feral stoney eye complete his look as Udhiran. The entire effect is mesmerising and magnetic, and one just can’t look away from the riveting poster.
Bobby Deol makes his Tamil language film debut with Kanguva. Bobby Deol’s first look as Udhiran in Kanguva is yet another testament to how the actor has reinvented himself in recent times, to fit better into the film milieu of today. His recent hit Animal, and ZEE5 original movie Love Hostel are two other films that saw Bobby Deol in charismatic roles.
Disha Patani too is making her Tamil film debut with Kanguva. Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar and B. S. Avinash make up the rest of the cast. Kanguva is directed by Siva and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja, V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations.
