The countdown for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated gangster thriller movie ‘Animal’ has begun. The film starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role will be released in theatres on 1st December alongside Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ starring Vicky Kaushal in the titular role.
After the makers unveiled the first teaser for ‘Animal’, much has been said about Ranbir Kapoor’s look and character and how the film can turn out to be a game changer for the ‘Brahmastra’ actor in a big way. And how he has totally nailed the complex character of a violent man.
But there is another actor in the film whose brief appearance in the ‘Animal’ trailer made a big impact on fans and movie buffs. We are talking about Bobby Deol’s mysteriously menacing character and role in the film.
As per a recent report (via Bollywood Hungama), Bobby Deol, who plays an antagonist in ‘Animal’, does not have any dialogues in the movie. And the reason is reportedly because Bobby Deol’s character is mute and does not have the ability to speak. So, he’ll be a mute villain. This aspect has added another dimension to not only Bobby Deol’s character but also lends another interesting dimension to the film overall.
With the benefit of hindsight, a hint was there in the character poster of Bobby Deol where he was seen with a bloodied face with a finger on his lips, indicating not to utter a word. This new detail about Bobby Deol’s character must have got fans more excited about the film and they are now waiting with bated breath for the full trailer of ‘Animal’, which will be out tomorrow.

Coming back to ‘Animal’, the movie’s underlying plot essentially revolves around a complicated father-son relationship (played by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor) and how the son transforms into a violent psychopath. It also features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
