Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani in ZEE5’s Poison 2

Close on the heels of popular Bollywood actors making a beeline for the OTT space, comes news that another actor will step into the ever-expanding web domain. That actor is Aftab Shivdasani. News is that he will be headlining the second season of ZEE5’s web series, Poison.

ZEE5 announced the launch of Season 2 of Poison on its social media handles. Poison Season 1 is a dark revenge drama, starring Tanuj Virwani and Arbaaz Khan in pivotal roles. The plot and premise of Season 2 isn’t known yet.

After a stagnant Bollywood career, Aftab is looking to inject freshness into his acting career by taking up roles in the web domain. Hungama, Masti, Mast, Awara Paagal Deewana, as well as an award-winning negative role in Kasoor, were a few of his well-known Bollywood outings.

Joining him in the cast are actors Raai Lakshmi, Pooja Chopra, Gautam Gulati and Taher Shabbir.

Poison Season 2 is slated to drop on ZEE5 on April 2020, with a specific release date to be announced later.
