Written and helmed by Eli Roth, Borderlands will serve as a live-action take on the popular Gearbox video game series of the same name. It will revolve around Lilith, a notorious outlaw, and her efforts to find the missing daughter of one of the biggest SOBs in the universe, Atlas (played by Edgar Ramirez). In her mission, she forges an unexpected alliance with Roland (a former elite mercenary), Krieg (Tina’s protector), Tiny Tina (a teen demolitionist), Tannis (a crazy scientist), and Claptrap (a wiseass robot). This group of heroes will take down dangerous bandits and alien monsters to find Atlas’s missing daughter, who possesses unimaginable powers.

Produced by Avi Arad and Erik Feig, Borderlands will arrive in theatres worldwide on August 9, 2024. Lionsgate will take care of the film’s distribution. Stay tuned for more updates.
