Here is a nice Bengali film for you to watch this weekend. ‘Bornoporichoy: The Grammar Of Death’ is a movie directed by Mainak Bhaumik. It is one of the movies that re-establish one’s faith on the quality of Bengali thrillers. The movie is available to watch on Hoichoi.
The film tells the story of a stern police officer who wants to catch a serial killer by hook or by crook. But his personal problems disturb him much throughout the case. This case has moved his life off the tracks and he reopens the file to do something about it. Arko, the serial killer, murders one after another person and he draws inspiration from the five elements of the universe. Dhananjay, the officer, has no idea that the killer of his pursuit is very close to him, and lurking around his family, waiting for the perfect time.
Bornoporichoy stars actors like Abir Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta, Priyanka Sarkar, Sudip Mukherjee and many others. The performances are credible. But the visuals are just magnificent. The cinematographer Ramya dip Saha has done a great job there. The young maestro Anupam Roy is the music director of the film, so you know there will be some wonderful songs in it.
Jisshu has time and time again impressed audiences with his performances in Bollywood, Tollywood and beyond. Abir Chatterjee too manages to look convincing in the role of a killer. If you are a fan of thrillers, you should not miss the movie at any cost.
