One of Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt’s upcoming movies ‘Bullet Train’ is geared up for its theatrical release in July 2022. In an exciting update for Brad Pitt fans and what seems to be an innovative promotional strategy by ‘Bullet Train’ makers, the film’s eagerly anticipated trailer has been teased for a 2nd March release through a first look viral advert clip featuring Brad Pitt himself.
The aforementioned promo ad, narrated by Brad Pitt, originates from a newly created Instagram account and YouTube channel and both are linked to the ‘Nippon Speed Line’ website. The website’s home page houses a ‘Take a Tour’ link through which you can watch the ‘Bullet Train’ ad promo and the movie’s first glimpse.
The website mentions the words “Get On Board March 2’, which alludes to the potential release date for the first trailer of ‘Bullet Train’, that is, 2nd March 2022. Interestingly, this website for the apparently fictional bullet train ride has multiple links which take us to the website of Sony Pictures, Bullet Train movie’s distributor.
Also, the words “CTMG” are mentioned on the website. It’s an acronym for Columbia Tristar Marketing Group, the marketing division of Columbia Pictures, one of Bullet Train’s production companies. So, if all this is true (which we believe is), then it’s one hell of a way to market a film by teasing its soon-to-be-released trailer with a first glimpse.
As per the ‘Nippon Speed Line’ website, the trailer for ‘Bullet Train’ is set to arrive at 11:30 AM Indian Standard Time.
Helmed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw), ‘Bullet Train’ is an action thriller movie based on Japanese author Kotaro Isaka’s book ‘Maria Beetle’. The film’s underlying premise revolves around five assassins traveling on a Japanese bullet train and how their individual missions have something in common. Besides Brad Pitt, the film also features Sandra Bullock, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Joey King, amongst others.
