Bradley Cooper is working on his next directorial venture and he will also be starring in it. Alongside him, actor Will Arnett will also be seen in a major role. The script is written by Arnett and Mark Chappell and it is still in early stages. The film is named ‘Is That Thing On?’. The writer duo, Arnett and Chappell, has previously worked together in ‘Flaked’.
The film will be produced by Cooper himself under the banner of Lea Pictures. Arnett and Kris Thykier will also be partners in the production. The scale and the budget of the movie is not yet known and there is also no idea about the subject matter of the film. There is no steady progress because of the ongoing writers’ protest, but as soon as the protests are resolved, the filming process will start.
Bradley Cooper is known for his acting and direction in many popular and critically acclaimed films. He has a grand total of nine Academy Award nominations and his debut directorial ‘A Star Is Born’ was a massive success. He will next be seen in the Netflix drama ‘Maestro’ which he has written and directed as well. He will be playing the role of a music composer here.
Will Arnett, on the other hand, is known for ‘Arrested Development’, voicing ‘Bojack Horseman’ etc. He will next be seen in the series ‘Twisted Metal’. It will be interesting to see what the team comes up with. Bradley Cooper has gained the status of a trusted filmmaker and hopefully the film will not be a disappointment.
