‘Breaking Bad’ Actor Bob Odenkirk Cast In ‘The Bear Season-2’

Bob Odenkirk, who became a household name after playing the role of the astute lawyer Saul Goodman in ‘Breaking Bad’ and its spin-off series ‘Better Call Saul’, has been cast in the second season of Hulu’s critically acclaimed culinary comedy drama series ‘The Bear’. Although Bob Odenkirk’s precise character details are currently not known, he will be doing a guest role in ‘The Bear Season-2’, which is set to arrive this June.

The underlying plot of ‘The Bear’ revolves around an award-winning and young New York-based chef (played by Jeremy Allen White), who goes back to his hometown Chicago to take care of his family business – an Italian beef sandwich shop. But the road is not easy as he must deal with his deceased brother’s debts and his disobedient staff.

‘The Bear’ currently holds 100% critics’ score on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, on IMDb, the show has received a superb user rating of 8.4/10. The show has bagged multiple awards including the Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Critics’ Choice Award, etc. ‘The Bear Season-1’ is streaming in India on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform.

Bob Odenkirk is currently starring as the titular character in the dark comedy series ‘Lucky Hank’, which premiered this March and will conclude on 7th May. Besides, the immensely talented performer has previously lent his acting skills for television series such as ‘Fargo’, ‘The Office’, ‘How I Met Your Mother’, and ‘Seinfeld’. He also did a well-received ‘John Wick’ like action film ‘Nobody’ in 2021, whose sequel is also in the works. Now, all eyes will be on this year’s Emmys where the second part of the sixth and last season of ‘Better Call Saul’ is going to compete.
