Sony Liv’s recent direct to OTT outing Family Drama, a crime thriller featuring Suhaas in the lead role garnered an okayish response from the Telugu OTT audience. The film is based on the journey of psychopathic brothers. It can be termed one of the peculiar attempts in the Telugu OTT space. Now, Sony Liv seems to have lined up another peculiar film – #BRO.
Going by the recently released trailer, #BRO is the tale of two siblings who take a contrasting approach to life and how they help out each other find closure in their respective love lives. Naveen Chandra and Avika Gor play siblings in this film.
The visuals shown in the trailer are aesthetically pleasing and they imply that #BRO is set in a picturesque backdrop. Naveen is seen as a confused young man. His perception of life changes after interacting with his sister, played by Avika Gor. Not often do we see concepts like these in the Telugu OTT space.
#BRO is directed by Karthik Thupurani and produced by JJR Ravichand. The trailer looks promising enough and it remains to be seen if the film has what it takes to keep the viewers hooked. The film premieres on Sony Liv on the 26th of November. Azeez Mohammed handles the cinematography and Sekhar Chandra composes the music for the Naveen Chandra starrer.
