BTS fans, rejoice! The first poster for BTS member Kim Taehyung aka V’s upcoming series ‘In The Soop: Friendcation‘ is out! The poster features the WOOGA Squad, consisting of BTS member Kim Taehyung aka V, Park Seo-joon, Peakboy, Choi Woo-shik and Park Hyung-sik. The 5-member squad looks chilled out and relaxed in the first look poster, launched by South Korean entertainment company, HYBE, this evening.
‘In The Soop: Friendcation’ is a spinoff of HYBE’s reality series ‘In The Soop’, which centres on celebrities and their leisure time off from work. ‘In The Soop: Friendcation’ will follow the WOOGA Squad, as they go on a relaxed vacation—or better still— Friendcation – a leisurely trip of 3 nights and 4 days. The series will capture moments – both mundane and special – from the trip undertaken by the close friends.
For those who don’t know, the WOOGA Squad, aka WOOGA Fam, is a close-knit group of five friends, all from the South Korean entertainment industry. The five celebs, BTS’s V, actors Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik and singer Peakboy, first met on the sets of the show Hwarang and have remained close friends ever since.
‘In The Soop: Friendcation’ will premiere on the JTBC TV network in South Korea on July 22. It will premiere internationally on Disney Plus, and Disney Plus Hotstar in India on July 22 itself. The series consists of 4 episodes, and will capture the five friends as they catch up on a much-needed break from work. The series will stream in the one episode per week format, with new episodes premiering every Friday on Disney Plus.
