The overwhelmingly positive response to ‘The Lazarus Project’ ensured that the series was renewed for Season 2 within a few months of its premiere on Sky TV. The series aired on TNT in the US.

For those who don’t know, the streamer has now acquired Peacock and Sky TV shows for streaming on its platform.
The Lazarus Project is a science fiction show, centred on a top secret organization dedicated to preventing mass extinction events and with the ability to make time go backwards. George (Paapa Essiedu) wakes up one morning and discovers the calendar has been rewound six months, but neither his girlfriend Sarah (Charly Clive) nor anyone else seems to notice. George has inadvertently stumbled across The Lazarus Project, and as their newest agent, he now lives and works in a world with continuous apocalyptic threat, and faces a life-changing experience.
The series also stars Anjli Mohindra, Rudi Dharmalingam, Caroline Quentin, Tom Burke, Brian Gleeson, among others, in pivotal roles. It is created by Joe Barton, who’s earlier created the well-received ‘Giri/Haji’ for the BBC.
