Can Khakee: The Bengal Chapter Continue the Legacy?

Netflix finally arrives in Bengal, this time hand in hand with Neeraj Pandey. We just got our hands on the trailer, and it is sizzling hot.

Bengal is undoubtedly one of the biggest regional markets, and with Netflix making its entry, it needed to go all out—and that’s evident in the cast selection.

The series features powerhouse performers like Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, and Ritwik Bhowmik.

“With Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, we continue our partnership with Netflix to build a franchise where audiences will experience a culturally rich region, the bustling streets of Kolkata, new faces, new conflicts, and a story that is just as intense but uniquely its own.”

“In line with the trademark Khakee flavor, the upcoming chapter raises the stakes, unveils darker truths, and introduces grittier challenges. I am sure audiences will be thrilled by the powerful ensemble, and I can’t wait to see their reactions as they experience the intensity and drama on screen. It was a sheer delight working with our directors Debatma and Tushar, along with the entire crew who worked tirelessly to bring this story to life,” said Neeraj Pandey about the series.

Now, speaking of the trailer, it carries the signature Khakee universe elements—which is a good thing, as there’s no need to fix what isn’t broken.

The pacing looks solid, and Jeet as a police officer alongside Prosenjit as a politician seems like a perfect fit.

Additionally, the series features talents like Aadil Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das, all of whom will undoubtedly elevate the story.

Netflix has yet to announce the release date. Stay tuned to Binged for more updates!
