Can Khel Khel Mein Be A Career Saver For Fardeen Khan?

Fardeen Khan, son of late Firoz Khan, started his career in acting from Prem Aggan which was a disaster. Later many attempts were done to revive his career which failed miserably but got him a Filmfare Award for best Male Debut. Later many attempts were done to revive his acting career and all of these attempts he was labelled as a failed artist.

After 2010, Fardeen’s career was at a complete hault with no projects lying around. He was in a desperate need of something to help him get back in the industry but there were no options around. Finally, in 2024, he received an offer for a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. Following that he will also be seen in Khel Khel Mein with many known faces. These projects though have potential and Heeramandi quite delivered it too, can be called as good comebacks for Fardeen Khan I’m the industry. But can they prove to be a proper comeback or are just some random projects which Fardeen got before passing again into oblivion?

We remember movies like No Entry, Heyy Baby and All The Best where everyone praised the characters played by Fardeen. Though he is a sub-par actor and always overdoes his part, still this overdoing laid a positive impact in the minds of people who watched these films. It seemed like Fardeen is made for such roles. Khel Khel Mein, this is what is evident in the trailer, portrays the same archetype of Fardeen as was seen in those films. People appreciated the trailer and also showed some positive response to Fardeen’s role. This film is something that can revive the old charm of Fardeen that he carried in the comedies of early 2000s.

Fardeen never really gave a good result as the solo lead of a film, but whenever he was paired with someone good, the film not only went hit, but also was Fardeen’s role appreciated. Similarly, in the shroud of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen can maybe recreate in Khel Khel Mein, what we saw before in Heyy Baby.
