Can ‘Succession S4’ Become The Highest Rated Season Of All Time?

The fourth and final season of HBO’s globally acclaimed dark comedy drama series ‘Succession’ is currently being aired on HBO and HBO Max in the US on a weekly basis. But as you all know, the show is currently not streaming anywhere in India, but it’s soon expected to arrive on the (new) JioCinema OTT platform.

So far, six out of a total of ten episodes of ‘Succession Season-4’ have been released by HBO. And until now, the overall critics’ score for the show’s fourth season stands at a highly impressive 98% on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes. And out of the first five episodes, Episode-1, Episode-3, Episode-4, and Episode-5 have received the maximum RT critics’ score of 100% (Episode-6 is currently not rated as it’s just been out).

‘Succession Season-4’ overall Rotten Tomatoes critics’ score of 98% is the highest so far among all the seasons. Season-2 and Season-3 are just behind by a small margin and have got 97% each while Season-1 is at 89%. Now, it would be interesting to see whether ‘Succession Season-4’ can continue to be the highest rated season of all time after it airs all its ten episodes and concludes the final season by the end of this month. It can certainly happen provided that the remaining episodes are equally well received by the audiences.

Created by Jesse Armstrong, the underlying plot of HBO’s ‘Succession’ series revolves around the Roy family, who are owners of the media and entertainment giant RoyCo. When the company’s founder (Brian Cox) decides to step down owing to his deteriorating health, his four children gear up to compete for control of their father’s company.
