Regional films have been ruling the year so far with exceptional plots and terrific performances from several high-profile actors. With so much hope and anticipation for future releases and the bright opportunities in store for regional cinema, another huge film is about to set its reign in the theatres soon.
Parari is all set to hit the theatres next week and by the looks of it, it aims to be an eye-catching thriller. With several over-the-top shots and slow-motion sequences, the film is backed by deep and mass music which uplifts the emotions shown in the film. The trailer of the film showcases a group of people living in a village and further showcases cruelty against them with a mix of romance summing up the trailer.
The film stars Harisankar and Sangeetha Kalyan in prominent roles who have been praised for their performances in the film’s earlier screenings. Raja Murugan’s film has already established itself as a hard hitter worldwide. It won the bronze medal at the 57th World Fest Houston Remi Awards under the Best Foreign Film Category.
Depicting caste and language barriers which result in violence among South Indian states, the film’s plot is compelling enough to gain a large part of the regional audience. The film also stars Guru Rajendra, Samrat Suresh, Pugazh Mahendran, and Brem Nath in supporting roles.
Despite having worldwide praise, the film looks a little tough on paper to gain countrywide attraction. While it might be a sleeper hit in Tamil Nadu, its OTT release will have a crucial part in the film’s overall growth. It all comes down to November 22nd as Raja Murugan brings a tale of cruelty and love starring Harisankar and Sangeetha Kalyan.
