The seventh season of ‘Rick And Morty’ is about to be released after all the controversies with the makers. There could have been nothing more appropriate to cheer up the fans of the show than a new season. The 70 episode deal of Dan Harmon says there is more to come. This is the peak of success that the show has ever seen.
But will there ever be a full length feature film for Rick And Morty? Well, there is a possibility. In a recent interview, Dan Harmon has expressed that he once approached Warner Bros. with the proposal for a Rick And Morty film but it did not happen for some reason. He also expressed that they were all aligned in a kind of ‘super-episode conceit’ in a way that Matt Stone and Trey Parker tried to do with ‘South Park’. Harmon had ideas for a musical and a multicam as well but none of them happened. But we can hope that soon we can get a movie featuring the genius, weird scientist and his exploits.
The huge controversy that the makers had to go through after one of them, Justin Roiland, was accused of harassment and other such things made the future of the show uncertain. But Dan Harmon is bringing changes to ‘Rick And Morty’, introducing new voices, doing everything he can to revive the wonderful show. The time is ripe, the fandom is booming, and if Rick and Morty have to have a feature film, the best time is now.
