The news about Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan joining Salman Khan in Tiger 3 is spreading fast on social media. Apparently, Yash Raj Films is trying to endeavour this highly ambitious and seemingly impossible vision.
When Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh joined Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi then it became the biggest USP for the film.
The Tiger series and War is much bigger than that. Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie Pathan is also expected to be a spy movie.
Also, the director of War has already confirmed the second instalment of the movie.
People were expecting or let’s say talking about this for a long time. The conversation became even more prominent when a leading film journalist was talking to an extremely famous YouTuber about a possibility.
Fan pages are trending this and talking about a YRF spy universe with 3 big superstars.
Although we would love to watch this huge collaboration, it is extremely difficult or let’s say next to impossible to execute.
The reason is, those 3 are extremely big superstars whose stardom can easily be compared to one another. Shahrukh Khan has not enjoyed box office success lately, but that has little to do with his international popularity.
Even if they come together in Tiger 3 then Shahrukh and Hrithik will be expected to do a cameo appearance rather than being a full-fledged role. Because Tiger series is a Salman Khan show and him struggling for screen space against Shahrukh and Hrithik will be too much. Also, we can’t ignore how important Katrina’s character is in the series.
Next, Hrithik is perhaps the most expensive actor when it comes to taking a fee. According to media reports, his fee for War was much more or even double than 50 crores. So even if it is a cameo then he would have to be paid a huge sum.
Shahrukh and Salman on the other hand prefer taking a percentage from the film’s profit. So if such a situation arises, then it will be difficult for YRF to spend on other important aspects of filmmaking rather than just the cast.
But after Sooryavanshi, this can be a possibility nonetheless.
So as of now, this dream is too big to be true. Also, there is no official announcement about it and we can’t just rely on Twitter trends.
