A new report by Wakefit.co, a company that helps with sleep and home stuff, tells us about how people in India sleep. It says that around 58 percent of people go to bed after 11 pm, and almost half of them wake up feeling tired. Also, a big 88 percent wake up many times during the night, and one in four people think they have trouble sleeping.
Why is it so?
The report says that using phones and being stressed out is making it hard for people to sleep well. Many people stay up late because they’re watching OTT content. And a lot of them are binge watching right before going to sleep, which makes it even harder to doze off.
Now, this is indeed a serious problem. We do realize that OTT content, especially series can be highly addictive. The episodes are cut in a way that would demand you to stay hooked. But, it is our responsibility to stay informed and unaffected by the ill effects of OTT.
After all, nothing can be more important than good health and good sleep. We keep recommending all OTT titles every week. Thus, we thought that it was our responsibility to let you know of the ill consequences. Binge-watching is great for fun but never ever at the cost of your health.
