Netflix has dropped a high-octane teaser and key art for ‘Carter’, its first major Korean movie in the second half of 2022. Directed by Jung Byung-gil, renowned for his adrenaline-pumping action cinematography, ‘Carter’ will premiere only on Netflix on 5th August, 2022.
‘Carter’ teaser begins with a man waking up in a strange room with no memories whatsoever. He is then guided by a mysterious voice from a device in his ears instructing him every step of the way. She also warns him of the lethal bomb installed in his mouth that will detonate if he disobeys the command to embark on a special mission.
Rest of the teaser provides intriguing glimpses into the story with breathtaking action sequences varying from intense physical combat to daredevil airplane stunts. ‘Carter’ is the story of man with no memory who is sent on a hostage rescue mission rife with danger.
The key art revealed by Netflix shows back of the head of ‘Carter’ where a cross is engraved and he is seen holding a gun in his hands. The poster and the tagline “No Memory, One Mission” leaves the viewers perplexed as to who Carter really is and what’s this mission he is about to take on.
‘Carter’ on Netflix is directed by Jung Byung-gil and stars Joo Won, known for his strong presence in diverse genres of K-dramas and films. Produced by Apeitda Production, ‘Carter’ is a film with wall-to-wall action and tension-filled plot, and will premiere on Netflix on 5th August, 2022.
