Chidambaram’s Manjummel Boys Trailer Out, Goosebumps Guaranteed!

This film’s trailer is sending shivers down my spine. Playing a retro song from Kamal Haasan’s Gunaa in the background, the trailer starts off with a warning about ‘The Guna Cave,’ infamously known as Devil’s Kitchen, thrusting the narrative into horror’s limelight. The trailer of the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Manjummel Boys’ was released a few hours ago, and audiences have been loving it!

Directed by ‘Jan-E-Man’ fame Chidambaram S Poduval, the trailer intensifies the anticipation for ‘Manjummel Boys’, promising people for a nail-biting experience while watching the film on theatrical screens. Featuring Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathy, and Jean Paul Lal in leading roles, the story rather starts as a youth-spirited journey of 11 boys from Manjummel in Ernakulam to Kodaikanal.

The storyline is built around this group of friends embarking on a vacation to Kodaikanal’s Guna cave, named after the renowned Tamil movie. The trailer compels a must-watch since the mishaps that are portrayed, from their car breaking down to staying with an eerie owner, guarantees humorous misadventures along the way.

The much-anticipated release is still on horizon. The team behind the scenes includes Vivek Harshan as the editor, while Srik Varier and Sushin Shyam handle the colour grading and musical score, respectively. Shyju Khalidh’s visuals brings a touch of reality-meets-cinema element to the film, for ‘Manjummel Boys’ is based on a true story.
