Official trailer of the live action “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” has been released by Disney+. The live action adaptation of Disney’s fan favourite characters was one of the most anticipated movies. The movie is based on the 90’s show and the exciting news is it will continue the storyline of the old show. Chip and Dale basically being Chipmunk brothers with high pitch sound appearing in other Disney’s animation shows and eventually gained fans which paved the way to the show Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers.
Now these fan favourite characters are getting a live action movie which is directed by Akiva Schaffer. The film also has an impressive cast with John Mulaney and Andy Samberg voices for Chip and Dale and J.K Simmons, Seth Rogen, Corey Burton and Tress MacNeille in major roles.
The movie was already revealed to be a combination of animation and live action style when the teaser came out a month ago. The 3-minute trailer indeed showcases some hilarious scenes of the movie which hints the movie will be a laughter fest as expected by the fans. The film was reported to have “meta, something self-referential and cool” take on the characters.
The movie will also explore the modern technological advancements and their changes on the characters, especially Dale who underwent a “CGI surgery”. After the end of the Rescue Rangers Chip and Dale are leading a normal life and then they are forced to team up again to face a danger.
The movie will stream on Disney+ May 20 2022.
