Chiranjeet Chakraborty's Nikosh Chaya Aims To Become More Horrific Than Its Original

Parambrata Chattopadhyay’s first web series as director for Hoichoi, Parnashavarir Shaap, was a horror mystery that received fair reviews from the critics and the audience for its gripping plot and horrifying screenplay.

The upcoming season of Souvik Chakraborty’s novel, which Parambrata Chattopadhyay helms, is expected to immerse Niren Bhaduri (portrayed by Chiranjeet Chakrabarty) in an even more sinister and dangerous voyage. Following the footsteps of Parnashavarir Shaap, the upcoming season ‘Nikosh Chaya’ takes an even deeper turn in the world of horror and creepiness.

Expanding upon the realms of mythology and the paranormal, this gripping drama will have a menacing secret. The audience’s strong demand following the publication of the previous season a year ago led to the season’s return.

On October 31, which also happens to be Bhoot Choturdoshi and Halloween, the series, directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay and featuring the original cast members Chiranjeet Chakrabarty, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Gaurav Chakrabarty, and Anindita Bose, will be streaming exclusively on Hoichoi.

It remains to be seen how the series will impact the audience in the upcoming weeks. Parnashavarir Shaap was a treat to watch for viewers as it was a proper and clean adaptation of the original novel. Given the excellent cinematography and stellar performances, the first season garnered huge attention from the audience and was highly rated. The same impact would be expected from the upcoming season which streams this Bhoot Choturdoshi on Hoichoi.
