Chris Evans To Join Emily Blunt For Netflix’s ’Pain Hustlers’

As per the latest reports, Chris Evans has been cast alongside Emily Blunt in Netflix’s upcoming production ’Pain Hustlers’. Helmed by David Yates, ‘Pain Hustlers’ was among the most sought after packages at this year’s Cannes market with a price tag of around $50 million.

Official synopsis for Netflix’s ‘Pain Hustlers’ reads, “Dreaming of a better life for her and her young daughter, Liza Drake (Blunt), a high-school dropout, lands a job with a failing pharmaceutical start-up in a yellowing strip mall in Central Florida. Liza’s charm, guts and drive catapult the company and her into the high life, where she soon finds herself at the center of a criminal conspiracy with deadly consequences.”

Director David Yates, known for his works like the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises, describes ‘Pain Hustlers’ as a film that follows the style of ‘The American Hustle’, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ and ‘The Big Short’. The film is expected to begin production in late August.

‘Pain Hustlers’ has screenplay from Wells Tower and is produced by Lawrence Grey via his Grey Matter Productions banner, in association with Yates and Yvonne Walcott’s Wychwood Pictures. Lewis Taylor and Ben Everard serve as the executive producer for ‘Pain Hustlers’ while Cyrus Mojibi, Patrick Wade, Lawrence Kao and Lloyd Everard are the co-producers.

Known popularly for his role as Captain America in Marvel Studios films, Chris Evans will next be seen in Netflix’s ’The Gray Man’ alongside Ryan Gosling and Dexter Fletcher’s ‘Ghosted’ for Apple.
