The teaser for upcoming Malayalam film ‘Ullozhukku’ aka ‘Undercurrent’ is here and it’s one mysteriously intriguing story. Helmed by ‘Curry and Cyanide’ director Christo Tomy, ‘Ullozhukku’ will release in cinemas on 21st June, 2024.
The teaser for ‘Ullozhukku’ is set in a quaint town in Kerala where a mother is terrified by something that her daughter has done. She has probably killed her husband and now the whole system including the legal and religious is involved.
But it isn’t just that simple there’s a lot of secrets and mysteries surrounding all that has happened. The whole rainy theme sets an eerie tone to the teaser.
Directed by Christo Tomy, ‘Ullozhukku’ stars Parvathy, Urvashi, Shebin Benson, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Veena Nair, and Alencier Ley Lopez. The music for the film has been composed by Sushin Shyam with cinematography by Shehnad Jalal and editing by Kiran Das.
Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan, and Abhishek Chaubey are producing ‘Ullozhukku’ under the banners RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures.
‘Ullozhukku’ Will release in cinemas on 21st June, 2024. Going by the teaser it definitely looks another gem from the Malayalam film industry.
