Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ First Look Out! Here’s When Teaser Will Be Out!

Christopher Nolan‘s much awaited magnum opus ‘Oppenheimer‘ starring Cillian Murphy in the title role is all set for a huge Universal Pictures release on 21st July, 2023. Exactly one year before its worldwide release, the makers of Oppenheimer have released its first look poster today.

The first look poster has Cillian Murphy standing in front of an atomic bomb explosion with a striking tagline ” The World Forever Changes.” The tagline subtly indicates how J Robert Oppenheimer’s invention of atom bomb changed the world and ruined it for the worst. According to verified news outlets first official teaser of Oppenheimer is also cut and will play at the theatres before Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ that is scheduled to release on 22nd July,2022. The film also is shot in IMAX film cameras. The poster also mentions major cast members of the film besides Cillian Murphy; like Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr. and Florence Pugh. However the cast of Oppenheimer is jam-packed and even bigger than Don’t Look Up and David O Russell’s Amsterdam. The makers are expected to drop first look posters of the rest of the cast before official teaser drop.

Oppenheimer is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and late Martin J. Sherwin. Cillian Murphy plays the theoretical physicist whose work on the Manhattan Project led to the invention of the atomic bomb, thereby crediting him with the tag of “father of the atomic bomb”. The film takes on the paradoxical life of an eminent scientist who risked destroying the world amidst world War II in order to save it.

Besides direction Christopher Nolan himself wrote the screenplay of Oppenheimer. He also co-produces alongside Emma Thomas and Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven. The film is theatrically released by Universal Pictures thereby making Oppenheimer Nolan’s first film not to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures since Memento (2000).

At a touted budget of $100m, Oppenheimer is one of Nolan’s biggest projects yet and is distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures thereby making Oppenheimer Nolan’s first film to not be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures since Memento (2000). Oppenheimer releases on July 21, 2023, around two weeks before the anniversary of Hiroshima Atomic bombing.
