Chucky Season 3 Part 2 Gets An Update From Creator

Part 1 (consisting of the first four episodes) of Chucky Season 3 premiered on October 4. Now that it has been concluded (kind of) with the latest Halloween episode, fans are curious to know when Part 2 will come out. The upcoming part will consist of the remaining four episodes. Creator Don Mancini has given an update about this scenario.

Mancini recently spoke to Comicbook.com about Chucky Season 3 Part 2. He blamed the actors’ strike for splitting the third season into two parts. “Once we saw that the strike was coming, we sort of like put all of our resources and time into finishing the first four. We really have almost finished five and six as well. But we like literally just like a day left to finish five and six. And then a few more weeks to do seven and eight. But we do have pieces of seven and eight already shot as well,” Mancini said.

It all depends upon the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike now. The culmination of this strike will allow Mancini and his team to start working on the remaining episodes. The second part may come out in late 2024, given the release windows of previous seasons.

Part 1 showed Chucky in a terrible condition as the dark magic abandoned him, due to the exorcism he endured. It means he is on the verge of meeting death. However, the titular evil doll found a way to help himself.

Chucky has to kill a total of six people while residing in an evil location to get his powers and health back. And his next location will be the White House. Viewers may see Chucky giving everything he has to stay alive in Part 2. He may also get involved in a showdown with Lexy, Jake, and Devon.
