The trailer of Chup is out. The film stars Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead role. Also, it is directed by R. Balki who is famous for films like Ki & Ka.
The poster and teaser were tempting enough but the trailer heightened the anticipation for the movie. The trailer is extremely well-cut and is giving us vibes of Andhadhun which is a trendsetter movie nonetheless.
The film is about movies and critics. It gives the reference to legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt who is behind films like Kaagaz Ke Phool and Pyaasa. They are one of the greatest films ever made and still, the critics of that time bashed Kaagaz Ke Phool by calling it depressing and slow.
The whole trailer is filled with visual metaphors and unsettling visuals with too much blood and gore.
The serial killer leaves the body with bloody star marks. Sometimes he gives 5 stars while sometimes only one, just like a film critic does.
The movie is looking very interesting with typical Sunny Deol scenes. Also, Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary look good in the clip.
The best thing is the unrevealing nature of the trailer which keeps the temptation level high.
