Clint Eastwood To Direct His Career’s Final Film At Warner Bros

After directing around forty films and acting in more than sixty movies, living legend Clint Eastwood will reportedly be donning the director’s hat for a film which is being described as the final film of his career. The movie is expected to land at Warner Bros. – the studio for which the Oscar-winning prolific filmmaker has been making films for the past 50 years.

Clint Eastwood’s final film will be set in a thriller format and has been titled ‘Juror #2’. The movie’s story boasts of an interesting premise. It revolves around a juror, who is on a murder trial. The protagonist learns that he might have caused the victim’s death and gets into a dilemma of whether to manipulate the jury and save himself, or tell the truth and turn himself in.

As of now, although it’s not absolutely certain that ‘Juror #2’ is going to be Clint Eastwood’s last film as a director, considering the fact that he’ll already be 93 years old in a few months, it’s most likely that it’ll be his final film. ‘Juror #2’ is going to be Clint Eastwood’s 40th film as a director.

When will Clint Eastwood begin filming for his next film ‘Juror #2’, is not yet confirmed. And as far as the film’s casting is concerned, that too is yet to be finalized. However, as per a source, the film would feature Nicholas Hoult (The Menu, X-Men: First Class) and Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, Unbelievable).

Clint Eastwood started off his directorial journey with the 1971 psychological thriller movie ‘Play Misty for Me’. Later, the gifted storyteller went behind the camera for several well-crafted and critically acclaimed films such as ‘Unforgiven’, ‘Mystic River’, ‘Million Dollar Baby’, ‘Changeling’, ‘Gran Torino’, and ‘Sully’. His most recent film as a director was the Western drama ‘Cry Macho’.
