The latest single ‘Coka 2.0’ from Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Liger’ is here and this one’s an authentic remake that does not ruin the original. Sung by Sukhe and Lisa Mishra, ‘Coka 2.0’ is now out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
‘Coka 2.0’ video song has a full on party vibe with Vijay Deverakonda being adorable as a sardar while Ananya Panday looking hot rocking those dance moves in a golden and maroon lehenga. With a bunch of background dancers the whole song makes you want to groove to its beats.
Despite belonging to South India Vijay does not disappoint as a North Indian donning a Punjabi folk dancer look. And it’s not just his looks but also the way he dances to those Punjabi beats and lyrics that are worth a watch.
Coming to the song, ‘Coka 2.0’ is an upbeat remix of Jaani’s 2019 song and its his involvement in the song’s making that makes it a much genuine new version contrary to most remixes that usually dissapoint. Composed by Jaani, Lijo George and Dj Chetas, the song is penned by Jaani and sung by Sukhe and Lisa Mishra.
Making his Hindi film debut with ‘Liger’ the ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Vijay Deverakonda plays the titular MMA fighter role in the film alongside Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna among others. The sports action drama film also has popular American boxer Mike Tyson playing an extended cameo role in the film.
‘Liger’ is written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh and is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur have bankrolled the film. The production companies behind the film are Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. ‘Liger’ will release in cinemas on 25th August, 2022.
