Colin Farrell’s Next Thriller: Apple TV+’s ‘Sugar’

Irish actor Colin Farrell has played a leading man in blockbusters and independent films since the 2000s. For some of his performances, he has received various awards and nominations, including two Golden Globe Awards and a nomination for an Academy Award.

The next role he will be donning is that of John Sugar, a private investigator in Los Angeles with dark secrets of his own. Apple TV+’s new series Sugar will be streaming exclusively for audiences on the platform from April 5.

Passionate about saving souls lost to kidnapping and abduction, Sugar is hired by a prominent Hollywood producer to find a woman named Olivia Siegel. While there exists an oxymoronic personality description of Olivia among her family members, John Sugar must navigate through the intertwined Siegel family secrets to discern the truth.

With the premise set that Olivia is in trouble, Sugar must decipher clues hidden deep and in the open. Along with Farrell, the ensemble cast also boasts names like Amy Ryan, Nate Corrdry, Dennis Boutsikaris, Alex Hernandez, and Kirby Howell Baptiste.
