Colleen Hoover’s ‘Regretting You’ To Have An Adaptation Now!

As ‘It Ends With Us’ with Blake Lively in the lead role is running in the theaters, another movie from Colleen Hoover’s bestsellers is now announced. Her ‘Regretting You’ will soon be made into a movie.

Dave Franco, who is known for his role in ‘Love Lies Bleeding’, has been attached to the project. He will be playing the lead role with Allison Williams and McKenna Grace. The screenplay is written by Susan McMartin and the movie will be directed by Josh Boone who is known for directing the much popular romance adaptation ‘The Fault in Our Stars’.

The movie will be telling the story of a young mother who has to put her own career at stake for the sake of her daughter Clara. The mother and daughter have to go through dire straits when Clara’s father dies in an accident. When Clara reaches teenage, the relationship with her mother becomes strained.

Colleen Hoover is highly popular among youngsters and enjoys a huge fan base all over the world. The American author has written multiple book series like: ‘It Ends With Us’ series, ‘Slammed’ series, ‘Hopeless’ series etc. Her estselling novel ‘Verity’ is also going to be adapted Into a movie pretty soon. Hillary Seitz is currently working on the script. He is known for writing Christopher Nolan’s ‘Insomnia’ and other films like ‘The Unforgivable’. Unlike other books by Hoover, Verity is not a romance but a crime thriller.
