Confirmed: Survival Thriller ‘Fall’ Sequel & Threequel In The Works

Earlier this year, it was reported that the makers of the spine-chilling survival adventure thriller movie ‘Fall’ were planning a sequel to the film, tentatively titled ‘Fall 2’. In yet another piece of fantastic news for fans of the first film, it has now been revealed that not one, but two sequels of ‘Fall’ are confirmed to be in development. So, now, ‘Fall’ has taken the shape of a franchise / trilogy.

As per the latest update, the parent film’s helmer Scott Mann will co-write and direct the ‘Fall’ threequel. Both the ‘Fall’ sequel and threequel are expected to feature the lead character played by Grace Caroline Curry in addition to new characters who will be stuck in a do-or-die situation, but nothing is confirmed yet as far as casting is concerned. ‘Fall’ sequel ‘Fall 2’ is slated to begin filming in June 2024.

For those of you who haven’t watched the first film ‘Fall’, the basic plot is about two best friends and experienced female rock climbers, who are still dealing with a recent death of a common friend. Around a year later, the duo decides to undertake a daredevil climbing adventure to the top of an abandoned and desolate 2000-feet radio tower to overcome their fears. But soon, they find themselves stranded on the top of the tower with no way to get back to the ground.

‘Fall’ is a beautifully shot, well-acted, and crisply directed movie. You’ll feel as if you are climbing with the two lead characters and are stuck along with them. ‘Fall’ received a critics and audience score of 79% each on reviews aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
